The Biennale di Venezia, in Ca 'Giustiniani (San Marco) , one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world. Ever since its foundation (1895) is at the forefront in promoting new artistic trends in contemporary art .
The Hotel Villa Abbazia in Follina (60 km from Venice, less than an hour drive), the only Relais & Chateaux in the Veneto region that can boast of a "starry" restaurant, has the great pleasure to welcome you for this important event.
You can choose between a Venetian palace of the 1700s or the Venetian Villa liberty style of the 800 . For gourmet travellers you can enjoy the great Italian food in our restaurant La Corte , 1 Michelin star in 2014 , where you can also see some works form the painter Nicola Verlato who went to the Biennial in 2009 . Alternatively there is also the casual restaurant La Cantinetta tipical venetian food and the special fried pizza.
Immersed in the green hills of the Prosecco DOCG, the best in the world, away from the humid heat of the summer and the tourist bustle of Venice, here you can also go to the places of great artists of the past : Palladio , Canova , Giorgione, Cima da Conegliano and many others.
Follina is the crossroads of Treasures of Unesco : The Dolomites , The Villas of Palladio and Venice.
