…to November 11th

Prehistoric findings in the  Colmaggiore di Tarzo area and the will to enhance the value of the Revine lakes are at the base of the Parco Archeologico  Didattico del Livelet project, implemented by the Province of Treviso. In the park, the visitor can plunge into the prehistoric past and experiment the daily life of the ancient populations thanks to the lake dwellings that have been artificially rebuilt and the interaction with materials, tools, hunting weapons, crops and other proposed educational programs.

The parco Archeologico Didattico of Livelet focuses on the chronological period of time from the Neolithic Age to the Bronze Age, rich in technological innovations and important economical and social changes. As an introduction to the education programs, the Park organized guided tours to the lake dwellings (45 minutes) and the following subjects (45 minutes) : living on palafitte, flintstone processing, ceramic productions, weaving and metallurgy.
